The PSK XL Light Katana was designed for quick-draws and multiplecuts on lighter targets.Keeping the furniture of thePractical Katanaand the low maintenance synthetic tsuka components, the blade keeps the XL blade geometry but has bo-hi (grooves) on both sides of the blades which lighten the blade. With reduced weight, you can make multiple cuts with less energy on the same target. The 1566 steel and differentially hardened in the traditional manner, producing an edge hardness of HRC60 and spine hardness of HRC40. Cut with speed and accuracy with the Practical XL Light Katana.
