The New Zatoichi Sword Stick / Cane from Hanwei! Now you can own a sword based on the legend of the blind samurai! We have completely revamped this sword from the ground up, bringing you a superb example of this style of blade. We started this revitalization by using a differentially hardened 28 1/2" straight blade made from T10. The genuine hamon is very prominent, and the edge comes razor sharp. The edge is hardened to 60 HRC, while the back remains softer at 40 HRC, bringing true katana-like performance. The handle and scabbard are a matte black, and the sword itself can be fully disassembled for cleaning. The handle is 11" long and gives the sword an overall length of 40 1/2", which is perfect for cutting and slicing.
When disassembling, keep in mind that extra caution must be given for the habaki, as they are each custom fit to each blade.
